Wayzata, March 30, 2020 – Coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a ripple effect in how businesses operate on a global level. As travel by corporate personnel is being curtailed, the ability to work with data management partners remotely has never been more crucial.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to the individuals, businesses, and communities that have been affected by COVID-19. In response to the increasing number of cases and uncertainty domestically and around the world, we want to make you aware of the precautions NightOwl Global is taking to protect the health and safety of our employees, their families, our clients, and our communities while maintaining our consistent and high-level client service that you have come to expect and rely upon.

In the interest of employee safety and business continuity for our clients, NightOwl has implemented the following preparedness measures related to Coronavirus (COVID-19). We continue to follow the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO), United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the state and local governments for each of our respective office locations and are prepared to put our Business Continuity and Pandemic Recovery Plans in place if needed.

Our Pandemic Recovery Plan specifically leverages our disaster preparedness resiliency. NightOwl operates its data centers remotely and allows its workforce to access systems remotely (social distancing teams) for any duration of time required. This plan includes defined roles and responsibilities and is designed to fit a variety of pandemic and disaster scenarios. Between our distributed global teams, and the flexibility of our technology infrastructure allowing secure remote transfer and work product protocols, we can provide seamless services that clients are accustomed to without interruption.

Client service and remote work
We are proud to have robust technology in place that enables our employees to efficiently and effectively provide remote client services if they are unable to report to our offices or your site. We have long-established remote working guidelines in each of our lines of business to help ensure we meet deadlines and deliver our work to you.

Teams who are working onsite at your office have been advised to consult with you on whether your offices are open or if there are any special guidelines they need to follow. If you are expecting one of our teams and there is a reason why they should not come to your site, please notify your NightOwl Engagement Director.

Health and safety
The health and safety of our employees, their families, our clients, and our communities are of critical importance to NightOwl Global.

We are following strict quarantine rules in alignment with the most up-to-date CDC guidance for employees who have been (and those who have family members who live in their homes who have been) in contact with someone who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 and those who have traveled to China, Italy, Iran, Japan or South Korea. We are monitoring restrictions in the US as they are unfolding.

Flexible schedules and remote work options are available for ALL employees, including those who are at a higher risk of contracting or suffering complications from COVID-19 and those who are affected by school and childcare center closures.

Finally, we have instituted additional cleaning protocols for our offices to help keep them healthy and safe for our teams, clients and service providers.

Travel and meetings
NightOwl has suspended all international travel and all non-essential domestic travel through April 31st, 2020.

We have asked directors to evaluate all events and meetings through April 30 and make prudent decisions on whether to hold them or cancel in alignment with our travel policies, and evolving circumstances in our communities.
